Ann-Holmes-150x150Have you ever wondered how to weave syntax structures into new concepts and vocabulary in a content lesson?  Diving In with TAGS: An Elementary School Lesson is a continuation of Getting Your Feet Wet with TAGS using the CID TAGS: Teacher Assessment of Grammatical Structures (1-2-3) system to target and develop receptive and expressive language skills in a child with hearing loss.  From planning and preparing for lessons, to progress monitoring and goal setting, and reporting to parents and professionals, CID’s TAGS is an easy-to-use tool for all your syntax needs. In this course, a CID teacher shares the methods and strategies she uses to teach syntax structures from TAGS and new concepts and vocabulary during a science lesson.

Learning Outcomes

Participants will be able to:

  • Prepare expressive language lessons
  • Chart and measure student progress on the TAGS forms
  • Use the TAGS forms to report progress to parents and other professionals
