Distance need not be a barrier to receiving experienced intervention when a baby has a hearing loss. Using a computer or phone, parents can access a caring professional to walk them through the process of getting help, step by step. CID parent educators help parents and caregivers learn about hearing loss, cochlear implants, hearing aids and more. Through demonstration and coaching sessions, they help families begin to help their children learn to listen and talk in the course of their daily activities and routines.
CID parent educators schedule sessions to meet the needs of busy families.
