Volunteer
Volunteers help CID accomplish its mission of supporting children with hearing loss and their families throughout their path to success. We welcome volunteers to help with school activities, general office work, projects, etc. as needs arise. We encourage applicants of all backgrounds to apply.
Fundraising Events
We love it when volunteers provide much-needed assistance with our annual events such as CID Trivia Night and CID OUT LOUD! You can also attend as a guest, secure a sponsorship, participate in the online auction and raffles or make a gift.

CID 1914 Society
Named for the year Dr. Max Goldstein opened CID – Central Institute for the Deaf and began its legacy, the CID 1914 Society is a special group of leaders who donate $1,914 or more annually. This group changes lives by empowering students to listen, talk, read, succeed and reach their full potential.
CID Legacy Society
The CID Legacy Society is a committed group of donors who have chosen to make a gift through their estate plan to support excellence in education for children who are deaf and hard of hearing for generations to come.
Have you already included CID in your estate plan? If so, please be sure to fill out a letter of intent form to be formally recognized as a member of the CID Legacy Society. Please email your completed document to aholmes@cid.edu.
